The new library provides students at Dookie Primary School with a new, revitalised space that is packed wall-to-wall with books. The library also includes beanbags, and desks to foster a quiet reading space.

In addition to the new library, Dookie Primary School works as part of a cluster of schools in the Greater Shepparton region. As part of this cluster we are able to access a visiting art specialist that operates via a van to supply our students with materials to participate in art sessions. We are also able to access a visiting librarian. Students are able to borrow books to take home from the library truck and participate in library sessions. These operate on an alternate fortnight basis.
