Our School Facilities

Our school is home to an incredible garden and a fully equipped kitchen used by our popular "Nourishing Dookie" kitchen and garden program, where students learn about healthy eating and sustainable living firsthand. Our library is brimming with resources, providing a quiet sanctuary for learning and discovery.

Physical activity is encouraged with our undercover basketball/netball court and two playgrounds set in our expansive, beautifully maintained grounds. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive before and after school care program, ensuring our students are supported beyond traditional school hours.

Our School Programs

  • Nourishing Dookie - Kitchen and Garden Program

    Every Monday we start the week with a ‘Nourishing Dookie’ Kitchen or Garden Session. The wonderful Mrs Thorpe and Miss O’Dea work with senior and junior students to cook up a storm or tend to the vege garden.

  • Playgroup

    Monday mornings at Dookie Primary School are very busy. As well as assembly and the Nourishing Dookie Kitchen and Garden program we also run a playgroup for children up to 5!

  • Visits to the Dookie Men's Shed

    On Fridays our senior students head over to the Dookie Men’s Shed. The sessions there are a great chance develop practical skills and connect with members of the Dookie Community.
